OUR FESTIVAL

The inaugural Lumière Sculpture Festival brough diverse three-dimensional art to the public for 10 days from 18 - 28 April, 2024.

It's not only a celebration of sculptors' artistry but also an opportunity for audiences from near and far to experience the amazing natural beauty of Gap Park. The Festival gathered works from established and renowned artists alongside emerging talent from across the country, all illuminated using sustainable solar energy. The mesmerizing sculptures, bathed in gentle, solar-powered light, created a serene and contemplative ambiance that had immense positive effects and incredible benefits to the local and visiting community.

Visitors can escape the stresses of daily life, find solace in the art, and experience a sense of peace and well-being while engaging with the sculptures. Our passion for visual arts, cultural enrichment, environmental consciousness, coupled with the desire to highlight the important of community satisfaction and safety, drives the momentum of the Lumière Sculpture Festival forward.

This project is made achievable thanks to the generous backing and active support from our local patrons, as well as regional businesses and organisations, who share our vision for amore environmentally-conscious, art-infused, and socially invigorated community.

Lumière Sculpture Festival acknowledges that we are on the land of the Gadigal and Birrabirragal people, the Traditional Custodians of the land. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
